This listing is for one complete rug hooking garland kit for our original design, HALLOWEEN GARLAND.  This kit will make seven 4×4 inch woolen ornaments that are functional and perfect for your spooky decor!  Pieces are absorbent and hand washable - just wet and let dry! 

Each kit comes with:

• one hand drawn pattern on monks cloth (with, at least, a 4 inch border)

• enough hand dyed wool strips to finish the project (number 8 or 1/4 inch wide). Colors include: black, white, oranges, harvest colors (all ornament colors are slightly different)

• wooden craft hook (optional)

• 5” embroidery hoop

• 5ft string for garland

• Heat'n'Bond glue paper

• 100% Wool felt for backing

• one color photo, color key, and instructions on how to complete the rugs and transform them into ornaments and attach to garland

**An Iron and Scissors will also be needed to complete this project** I have full video instructions on my website under “Instructions and Advice if you’d like to view the process of making the ornaments.

This kit comes with a 5” embroidery hoop to move around your pattern to complete one ornament at a time. If you’d prefer to upgrade to a quilting hoop (roughly 8 to 10 inches), you have the option of adding a quilting hoop to your kit order for a discounted price (any of the hoops found under Tools and Equipment). Be sure to pick "With Kit" from the drop down menu to save and be upgraded to priority shipping!

Wool: Please note that many woolen strips are hand dyed and all are hand cut which may cause very slight variations in their shade and thickness. All wools are number 8 size strip unless otherwise noted. All strips are cut but may need to be torn apart to use (Just tear the scored lines quickly to pull apart). I use a variety of solid and textured wools in my kits and wool mixes. Some shredding of textured wools (ombres, herringbones, plaids) is completely normal, expected, and add visual richness to your rug.

Info about our kits:  I always provide enough wool strips to complete every rug, but everyone hooks a little differently. EACH 12-13 INCH LONG STRIP SHOULD COVER ROUGHLY ¼ INCH BY 2.5 OR 3 INCHES (Or take 1.5 to 2 strips per square inch). If not, you are hooking too tight and will run out of wool. You may be asked to email a photo of your progress. There may be a shipping charge for over 20 wool strips. About our Hooks: You have the option to include a wooden medium sized hook with your kit. Hooks in kits are only an additional $6 - a great value!

Kits come packaged in a study plastic bag with colorful front page label that includes a large color photo of your kit. Kits will be mailed in a poly mailing bag.
