This listing is for one Irish Hook rug hooking tool appropriate for Primitive Rug Hooking. This popular hook style is also known widely as The Hartman Hook.

This hook is hand turned by Neville Smith in Ireland from Yew wood with Brass tapered hardware. The Ergo Handle Hook has a smooth spot carved in the handle for your thumb to comfortably rest while hooking. This hook is very versatile and works with a variety of sizes and fibers, from #4 through #6 and the shank size is 5mm.
