The Irish Hook - 6mm Extra Medium Ergo Handle Hartman Hook for Rug Hooking

This listing is for one Irish Hook rug hooking tool appropriate for Primitive Rug Hooking. This popular hook style is also known widely as The Hartman Hook.

This hook is hand turned by Neville Smith in Ireland from Yew wood with Brass tapered hardware. The Ergo Handle Hook has a hand crafted indent on one side where your thumb can sit comfortably. Overall from tip of the shank to tip of the handle, it is approximately 4.75 inches in overall length with a shank size is 6mm. This hook is very versatile and works with a variety of sizes and fibers, from #5 through #8.
