This listing is for 4oz 100% wool yarn to use for your rug hooking or punch needle projects. This wool is manufactured by Briggs & Little of Canada. Consider this yarn for whipping the edges of your rugs!

Use this yarn like you would wool fabric strips - comparable to a roughly 2/32" wide fabric strip or can be hooked double ply to cover more area! I use this yarn to achieve beautiful textures within my rug hooking projects. Great for fields, animals, flower patches, backgrounds and more! This yarn is also suitable for whipping edges or creating fringe or adding textural embellishments.

100% Wool, 2 ply, 17 sts = 4″ (10cm) on 5mm needles, 215 yds (196m)/skein. This yarn is suitable for: knitting sweaters, vests, socks, mittens, gloves, scarves, hats or afghans. Weaving blankets or upholstery material.

This roving yarn may also be used for felting, crocheting, knitting projects but please note that I do not have technical tips or troubleshooting guides on using this wool for these processes, since I am a rug hooker only! : )
