This FREE listing is my way to “pay rug hooking forward” to folks who would like to start a new craft but may not have 1) time to research supplies 2) funds to spare on a new hobby OR 3) local resources to help facilitate starting a fiber art hobby. My goal is to send a complete rug hooking kit and hoop to one person every few months.

Most recently, my friend Gloria donated bags and bags of wool to me which got me thinking: how can I pay it forward to someone else? I have had a TON of support since I’ve started my fiber art journey over ten years ago. Folks, including friends, family, and even strangers, have gifted me their time, resources, supplies, and knowledge in the quest to keep this humble craft of rug hooking ALIVE and now it’s my turn to return the favor. Each winner will receive a rug hooking kit of my choice and quilting hoop mailed for free directly to their door.

I am accepting entries and nominations now. Fill out the form for yourself or for someone you think needs to start rug hooking and could use my help! This will be a rolling entry, meaning there is no deadline, but I will announce winners 3-4 times a year, with the first one being Autumn of 2025.
