This yarn has been hand painted with care in order to get the unique mottled look of each skein - there are only two available and they are similar but unique in their own way!

Yarn Specs:

50% Highland Wool, 50% Superfine Alpaca

Single ply yarn

54 yds/100g skein

I am a rug hooking artist who incorporates various fibers into my own work and I encourage others to do the same to achieve rich and interesting textures in their designs (see last photos for example). This wool will look absolutely lovely in your punch needle (#10 needle) or rug hooking projects. The thickness of this yarn has slight variations but is comparable to a #7 or #8 wide wool fabric strip.
